It's raining today and the kids are stuck inside! Here are my 5 go to games for indoor fun!
Cotton ball crawl
The kids love this game and it cracks me up watching them play. I pile a bunch of cotton balls on one side of the living room and place a big bowl on the other side of the room. The kids have to place a spoon in their mouth and then put a cotton ball on the spoon. Then they crawl across the room and drop the cotton ball in the bowl. I usually do about 20 cotton balls so it keeps them busy for awhile. Then I sit back and laugh as they try to get it done!
Balloon Volleyball
I just blow up a couple balloons and have the kids hit them back and forth to one another. We will also set the timer and see who can keep their balloon off the floor the longest.

Indoor Scavenger Hunt
They love this and I do several different variations. This is a great way to get them to help do chores without realizing it! Sometimes I send them on a towel hunt to find all the dirty towels in the house and put them in the washing machine. Sometimes I give them a color and have them go room to room and find an item that is that color. Other times I ask them to find something in each room that starts with a certain letter. Switch it up and it will keep them busy for hours (ha not really, maybe 30 minutes!)
Sock Basketball
Since we have tons of socks in this house this game can keep them busy for quite awhile. I just set a round laundry basket out and have them shoot balled up socks into the basket. They think this is really fun to do from the top of the stairs.

Stand Together
This one is a bit of a challenge for them but they like to try it. Have two kids sit back to back and hook their elbows together. Now they have to try and stand up. It's pretty hard to do and they have to work together. It can take awhile and is pretty darn funny to watch.
