With all the playing outside this summer we are starting to notice the kids are getting super tired. It seems that by about 6:00 we have reached the exhausted point. Here are just a few signs that our kids are worn the heck out!

While taking a bath you hear one of them scream at the top of his lungs "my eyes, my eyes are burning." You rush to the bathroom convinced that someone has broken in and poured acid into his tiny eyeballs. All you find is a screaming tired child with tear free shampoo bubbles on his face...
When you ask your child if they want oranges or pears with their dinner they give you a blank stare. You repeat the question and again get a blank stare. You place oranges on their plate and hand it to them. They immediately burst into tears and declare that isn't what they said. Maybe tired children think you speak telepathically....
One child sits in a chair in the living room spinning himself in circles while screaming I'm not tired, I'm not tired. You remind him that it's bedtime and still he spins and yells. I'm not ti... and it stops automatically. Yep over tired kids fall asleep mid fit!
